Four steps, always in this order

The order matters: nothing is reorganized until it has been safely preserved, and nothing is called "done" until you've reviewed it.

Inventory
We start by logging every device, disc, and card you bring in — make, apparent condition, and rough contents — before anything is copied. This becomes the checklist everything else is measured against.
Preserve
Original files are copied first, exactly as found, before any organizing or cleanup begins. Nothing is reorganized until a safe copy exists.
Organize
Once preserved, files are sorted by date and source, arranged into a clear structure, and likely duplicates are identified for your review.
Deliver
Your finished archive is delivered on media you choose — your own drive, or one we provide. You review and accept delivery before source devices are considered done with.

A small phone-and-laptop project moves faster than a box of mixed discs and drives. Timelines are discussed after inventory.

We recommend holding onto your source devices until you've reviewed and accepted final delivery.

Devices that are physically damaged may need a specialist data-recovery service before an archive project can proceed.
